Hey, anyone remember that drag queen superhero idea I was joking about a while back?
I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not.

The hook is great - the key to the success of this will be in the character interactions feeling genuine... It might be tempting to camp it up, but if we really believe there is a connection between these two people it'll be a lot easier to buy in and care about the underlying conflict. I know that's pretty much the case with every story, but this is a neat idea - I hope you can take it all the way!

LOL - this is awesome - or, as Jessica says, it has the potential to be awesome. There's some great drama there - you have to wind things up just tight enough - if you go too far it will be campy and no one wants that. If you focus on believable and sympathetic characters you'll have a hit on your hands

HAHAHA! This is so bad... Genius in a way... but so bad... I mean... that's like a straight dudes worse nightmare... I mean... not to get graphic but there are just some ways men will never compare to women... But yeah. Still, if done right this could interesting on several psychological, social, and philosophical levels. It's just so bad....hehehe... But I'm more interested to see how well a woman can handle this topic. There is plenty of gratuitous Yaoi, Bishōnen, & Shōnen-ai that are completely annoying and stupid (DA is litered with fanart related to those). All the guys act like girls and half of the time they look uni-sex, too, and it's just really stupid. Of course, I'm not sure what angle you are going for. Maybe you are looking to create something gratuitous for a little titilation from young girls (something much like most "lesbian" content is in all actuality really gratuitous content design for the titilation of teenage boys). So can you create realistic relationships and interactions on a male to female and male to male standpoint... or a male pretending to be a female for that matter? I'm not saying you can't, but it remains to be seen. If done right this could be a very provocative and philosophical piece with a message. Or it could just be another Shōnen-ai comic. P.S. And no... I'm not gay. I'm just saying...

Oh, HELL no. This is not going to be a slashfic by any means. Jackal is straight, he is going to stay straight, otherwise the whole thing is cheapened beyond belief. I'm going for more of a Twelfth Night dynamic here, only in reverse. Kind of. Okay, think of it more as the Albert-as-Mrs.-Goldman/Senator Keeley dynamic in The Birdcage.

lol! Twelfth Night/Birdcage dynamic. As I imagined, this should be interesting. Hehehe... well... I imagine Jackal could alter his "orientation" but that's only probably possible if they were deep in love and far along in the relationship when the secret came out and even then there would be a period of extreme trauma and soul searching on Jackal's part to determine if he'd even be willing to deal/live with that... and a lot more traumatization due to the realization of the reality of this relationship... and then he would have to make a decision one way or another... and even then there is a good chance he still won't make the change. But yeah. Either way, as long as it isn't cheapened beyond belief then it should be fun. So considering that Jackal stays straight, what's going to be the silver-lining for Bloody Mary? Is the truth just never going to come out? Or is it going to come out and after the initial shock Jackal and BM decide to stay friends? Or none at all? Of course, I'm sure you don't want to give away too much but at least those are some things to think about.

I could go on at length about my issues with hyperfeminizing one of the members of a slash pairing, but to do that I'd have to throw in a treatise on the appeal of gay porn vs. heterosexual porn, and while Z2H is a rather forward-thinking community there are just some things that should not be discussed here. ... Uh, for the record, I'm asexual. This fact may or may not make the above text a little more palatable. :p (Jesus Christ, now I REALLY hope my family doesn't read this).

Wow. You just might have something, here. More feedback to come after I've delved into in a bit more, but the tagline alone is worth the price of admission.
