I will never get tired of that header.
Okay, so, I'm not sure the proper method for "breaking in" a new set of speakers is to blast Ziggy Stardust at top volume, but my! Is it fun?
Anyway, that got me thinking about music. Does anybody have an unofficial soundtrack to their pitch? Music you listen to while writing totally counts.
(And for those who are curious, yes, the UST for Queen Mary includes the songs "Lola" and "Dude Looks Like A Lady.")

For Minus One I do, and it's a lot of old rock tunes from the 60's and 70's primarily with a few songs from the last ten years thrown in there.

I have a soundtrack for Mind Crimes. I think I'll add it to my pitch one of these days. The main song, when the villain take's over the hero's body (via mind merging), is 'Only' by Nine Inch Nails.

I had no idea I missed that header while I was incommunicado. Thanks for that CB. With your permission, I think I'm going to have buttons made up that say that. ;)

Oh, feel free. Although I will continue to refer to instances of the writer of a work also being a shipper as "RTD Syndrome."

OMG - do I ever. I make a soundtrack for every project I work on. I keep a few of them on www.jango.com - I guess there's a way to listen to other people's stations, but I haven't really got that figured out yet. Anyways, I have a 'Hero High Soundtrack' station on Jango - if you ever figure out how to listen to it, let me know and I will spread the information like a virus. The soundtrack includes, but is not limited to: Dang - Buck 65 Make-out Song - Buck 65 Red Flag - Billy Talent Make You Feel That Way - Blackalicious The Logical Song - Supertramp Fortunate Son - CCR Brand New Colony - The Postal Service The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song - The Flaming Lips Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots - The Flaming Lips All These Things That I've Done - The Killers Mr. Brightside - The Killers Wanna be your Friend - The Inbreds Rock n' Roll High School - The Ramones Goody Two Shoes - Adam Ant Seven Day Fool - Jully Black She's a Rebel - Green Day The Underdog - Spoon Riot Van - Arctic Monkeys Turn It On - Sleater-Kinney Monkey Business - King Konqueror! Deceptacon - Le Tigre

For Broken Nexus - I have a lot of AC/DC playing (Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, etc). Anything with a heavy guitar will do... but most times I will just settle on one song and let it repeat for an hour while I write.
