My mentor and I are still ironing out my story, but in the meantime, I'd thought I'd share my early work on the gameplay. Here's a short video of it:

A couple things to keep in mind: The difficulty will be ramped up for the actual module. I'm no programming whiz, so I could only use a tiny bit of scripting. I downloaded FRAPS and Sony Vegas, the two applications I used to create the video, yesterday. In other words, if the editing looks like it was done by a noob, it's because I am a noob.

PS: Thanks for the thoughts on my concepts. They were helpful.

Hey Amanda. I'm still going back and forth with my mentor on concepts. As for getting NWN footage on YouTube, follow these steps: 1) Download the trial version of FRAPS from www.fraps.com. 2) Install the program and launch it. 3) Fire up Neverwinter Nights. 4) Play your module. 5) At the start of gameplay you want to record, hit F9. This tells FRAPS to capture the images and sound on your computer. Since you’re using the trial version of FRAPS, you can only record a maximum of 30 seconds. But here’s the thing: You can create as many 30-second clips as you want. 6) Download the trial version of Sony Vegas from www.sonycreativesoftware.com/products/vegasfamily.asp. You’re going to use this to edit and piece together your FRAPS clips. 7) Install the program and launch it. 8) Drag your FRAPS files into SV’s rectangular, time-coded space at the bottom of the screen. 9) Edit your footage. (You can find plenty of Sony Vegas tutorials on YouTube). 10) Create your video using the “Render” function under the “File” drop-down menu. Choose the “best” video quality and a “wmv” file format. 11) Go to YouTube and create an account. 12) Upload your file. Hope that helps. C

This is a great way to get your gameplay across! What idea did you decide to go with? How did you get Aurora onto youtube?
