On North Wind

I'm not really sure what happened. I have every reason to be tired. But I just couldn't sleep. I figured, well, I should just let the steampunk one go for now, too much workwork to do. That didn't help though. I was still fidgity and went at a game of Lumines--almost got through the base game, argh! I got three colors ahead of where I've been before at least.

Sat down, closed my eyes, and then it just was. It's been a long, long time since I've given myself the time to write anything creative. You get so caught up in being a journalist or facilitating communities that you forget how it feels. Late nights with typo-ridden inspiration.

At any rate, I'm happy it's out now, and I can sleep again.

The late-night writing heebie-jeebies. I love it when that happens.

It's magic when you fall through the page like that. I love those all too rare moments of inspiration! See, Z2H is good for you!

What I don't like is when I start seeing things moving in my peripheral vision that *aren't there*.

That's when I know its time to get some sleep.

Maim: For me that's ALL THE TIME. I just learned to gcope. Unless it reaches out and hits me I ignore it.

Mostly for me it's hearing things, only they are there. Nothing like living off of a main street near a skytrain in Vancouver.
