Two months ago, the experiment began. A group of like minded individuals got together, chose a topic and gave themselves one month to create a pitch from scratch based on the group's decision. Eight pitches emerged, and have been thoroughly examined.

Now for your listening pleasure, here's the third of eight interviews with the Unofficial Thinkup participants, discussing their cyberpunk pitches in their own words.

Today's interview is with Fetternity and his pitch Deutschmaschine, talking about competitive spirit in the UT group, post-modern feminism with a sci-fi twist, and the true nature of Cyberpunk.

Firstly, Fett I love the accent. And I really enjoyed listening to the recap of your interactions with comics. Something that hasn't been mentioned that much but I've really enjoyed is just listening to the creators talk about themselves a bit. Anyway, it was once again fun to listen to a creator talk about their take on UT1, their pitch, etc. Good stuff, good stuff.

Damn! I'm found out! They *actually* heard an accent... Nan, I know, I know. My work environment is English-first, Spanish-second, and French is 200% optional, so as much as I know my English is pretty good, I can't hide my origins through speech. I'm told my voice has a much higher pitch in French, too. I prefer my English tone because of that :p Listening to it now, I realize that I really like using the word "basically"... I need a Synonyms dictionary now... It's true that we haven't shared much of our roots when it comes to comics, and the interviews are the ideal tools to expose this. It also makes me think, who's going to interview Jason? Volunteers? Because I'd be willing to do it :)

Oh, plans are in the works, have no fear. I'd already secured the services of CW for that purpose, mostly because he finds my jokes funnier than Christian does. ;)

Probably because I know my accent gets much thicker (and ridiculous) when I try to talk and stop laughing at the same time :) Composure, my friend, it's all about composure!

McBastard! Don't worry, in my voice reviews I already made myself laugh, so it's all good :) I'm just waiting to finish them all in order to post them.

That's 'Big Jack' McBastard to you. :P I think I'll go legally change my name to that as a birthday present to myself, just so I can see 'Blake Undying, by 'Big Jack' McBastard' on the cover.

Bravo, Fett. C'est incroyable! I love how your mind works - you are a true renassaince man. Good luck with Deutsch and all your other pitches. I can hardly wait to see you in the winners circle, and, for what it's worth, you have my vote until that happens!
