There's one thing that's at times great, and at times disconcerting. It's productivity.

Snce finishing the inks on Rip Current (yes, yes!!), I've taken a small break, at least when I'm home. Playing videogames, watching Futurama, Metalocalypse, etc.

But tonight, at work, I started working again on Deutschmaschine. Namely, the first story arc's script.

What a mistake. Now I've got two days off and I know that if I don't control myself, I'll write another entire issue.

Damn!

LOL! Nothing wrong with that. After all, it is a book that they plan on publishing. Sounds like a good idea to me. :D

They may try and get you to write a whole feature film...

Well, considering there's the Harold Greenberg fund coming, it's good material to have, but still... I thought I'd be able to relax a bit after finishing Carmen's ink!! :D Oh well, who's to say it won't get published, too? :p

Wow - 'Carmen's Ink' has a nice ring to it. That's a good name for something...

Don't you just hate that? Still, it's better to write too much than not enough...

I find myself in the same boat. I have all these other projects I would like to work on, but I actually just plotted the next 2 issues of Dawn(read age)of Heroes and I am in the middle of issue 2 for script. I just can't let it go.

Aw, come on guys! Writing is a break! It's fun and it's the closest you'll ever get to "God status" as far as the act of creating goes. Writing is your friend. :D

Carmen's Ink. ah, what a sweet sound. Maybe that'll be the name for my new and improved website. Hey, actually... that would be very cool... Fett, I did breath a sigh of relief for you when that last page of inks came in. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! They're brilliant! And about 'Round two'. I was planning to finish writing a novel I have going, and I can hear those characters voices as they fade into the distance... 'Noooooooo....!!!'

Yeah, it was some feeling, uploading that last page. I suspect Alex was a bit frustrated that we weren't done before my vacation though. Good thing my output was spectacular in the two weeks before leaving :) I don't think Lucia, Marsden, Remy and Trajan are fading anytime soon though, if you catch my drift (wink wink) :D

While I’d love to be able to play some video games, watch some movies, and read some books, what would be a real dream come true would be to have two uninterrupted days of writing. Lucky you.

Oh, they were interrupted, trust me! I did have my monthly men's-only gaming Sunday. Also, I had to give my girlfriend some attention, otherwise... ...and then I had to yet again leave more of Deutschmaschine's script on the cutting room floor. I swear my script must be driving Ed crazy over lettering. Maybe I should've done it. Sure would've loved to...
