Just out of curiosity because I'm a comic artist looking for work, how does one get chosen to work on the winning web-comic? Is that even a possibility?

Who ever is the Artist on the pitch will be the Artist.

You're telling me that's not true? If i'm a good artist, if i'm not on the team there's no chance of me being possibly picked to do, say, inking?

Oh I never saw that. Maybe they'll ask the people who submitted to the winning pitch possibly? I love art but I can't draw worth crap so I never looked at the info for artists.

I'd very much like to work on a Reboot Comic, even if I don't entirely agree with the storylines. I'm a struggling comic artist and a break like this would be fantastic...

But I came into this so late... I don't have much time to make anything for it... when does it end? August 27th?

I think it ends on the 25th at the Expo during their panel.

Yeah,it ends this weekend at FanExpo and yes the artists will be chosen from fan submissions. Then it really gets awesome!

As a suggestion, why not upload some fanart to the pitches? (something that'll show off your real talents, in the most efficient pieces possible)

Actually MorganJ, I have been uploading work quite consistantly lately. I've uploaded 2 concept arts of Bob, 1 fan-art of Enzo, and a sample inked page for Reboot 2.0.

I've also included that inked page in my other thread "Reboot 2.0" so that you can actually SEE it better (cuz the viewer shrinks things down WAY too small)

Any writers Morgan?

When will the artists be chosen... Well, when will they be announced is what I'm asking.

I myself make a better writer than an artist. Maybe they'll have a thing for artists to submit story lines for the winning pitch later.
