Some of you might remember that I've been writing for a monthly magazine since March, and some of you might have never known, but you do now!  It's nothing cool or special - just a magazine about interesting older adults called "Seniors Living".  I've actually had nine interviews I've written published in the seven issues to date (they don't publish one in August) and I am currently submitting two for the November edition, and I've also had photos published with each of the articles.  Best thing about the experience is it is a professional writing credit, because they actually pay you with real money!  It's not great money, but it's better than not being paid, believe me!
Anyway, in October's edition, they actually put one of the pictures I took on the cover of the magazine!  Do you have any idea how cool that is, to walk by the rack and see a picture you took staring back at you?  I couldn't believe it when I first saw it!  And cover photo gets a nice credit, AND they pay for that as well!
Now if only I could get a few more of you to check out my comic   . . . .

So, where's the picture? Or a link to the cover with the picture on it? Or something. You can't have show and tell without the show.

@JMick: We shouldn't have to Google; TK should have showed off his work so we could give him a righteous congratulations!

genrewriter - you are so right!

In future TK, we expect you to Toot your own horn instead of giving us a tiny little meep.  Keep up the good work!

Way to go TK, that's awesome! Did you make sure to grab a bunch of them to save for your scrapbook?

Who is this Kevin I read of?  Where is Tenzil Kem?

Congratulations Tenzil (if that is your real name?).  I agree with Maim, start scrapbooking this stuff.

BTW - Just got my magnets in the mail today... 2 Minus One magnets now hang over my desk at work.

Way to go Tenzil!  It's really cool that they've been consistently publishing your stuff, and even cooler that you're getting the cover photo.  Don't forget about us when you come the most well known writer to audiences over 65 in Vancouver & Lower Mainland.

@J-Mick - I suppose you are the only with this mysterious "Google", is that another Canadian thing like KD?

@ Everybody: THANKS!
@ genrewriter: you should know I don't do links!
@ J-Mick: thanks for providing the link.  The story and photo from page 28 are also mine if anyone cares.
@ Lord Maim: You betcha!  I have copies of each issue I am in, but this one is special and will definitely be "in the scrapbook".
@ Juiceboy: That's great!  Did you get any other magnets too?  I'm going down to Z2H HQ on Thursday to pick up some more as we don't trust Canada Post any more since Blake went to work there.  That is so cool to have magnets of Minus One at your work place!  Thanks!
@ Will and Mek: Thanks!
@ Asclepius: I sure hope that doesn't become my only demographic! LOL! Maybe I should start writing comic books for seniors!  Maybe I'll try one for one of the MUPs!

Wow! That's super wicked. I can't imagine seeing a photo I took in print on the magazine stand - what a rush. I'd feel like Peter Parker (gawd I'm a geek!)

@Tenzil: Funny story, when my magnets first arrived, they were invisible (i.e.,nothing it was in the envelope).  I was sad, crushed and thought I was the butt of some cruel joke.  But I PMed Jessica and she resent them to me.  Hmmmm... maybe this Blake character took them and forwarded the empty package onto me.

I want more!  Need more time for more LEGO!

@ Juiceboy: I know.  Same thing happened to TK Jr.  He only got one of the four that were sent.  I blogged about this a few days ago in Blake goes postal, if you want to check it out.

TK jr. was so lucky to have seen the rip in his envelope.  Alas mine was still sealed, but completely empty on the inside.  A mystery to all.  If Blake managed to get those badboys out and reseal the envelope without anyone noticing, then my hats off to him.

@JB - still sealed?  There goes my theory of a Canada Post sorting maching somewhere clogged with Z2H magnets!
