The long month of hot hot heat is over, and the thr- uh - make that four finalists have been selected, and yes, Hero High is one of them! So thanks all of you that have come to this site and put your enthusiasm and energy behind this fun little comic. One week from now we find out who will be getting the grant - it's all in the hands of the jury now!

And just to assure you, I will be continuing with Hero High: Origins for the time being. I'm having a lot of fun doing it, and I know some of you have messaged me to tell me you want to see more. I plan to keep doing it until I've filled in the backstory of at least Moondog, Viper and Klokwerk.

So once again, thanks for all your support, and keep spreading the word! Even though this particular contest is over, Hero High can still use more fans. The larger the mob, the more noise gets made, and the greater the chance is that someone important in the industry will take notice!

Hero High made it????  Whoohoooooooooooo!!!!!!!  Or should I say "Arooooooooooo!"?  Big congrats man on HH making it to this next level!!!

I did a fan art pic, it seems a little late.  You can find it here:  http://samuraidad.deviantart.com/art/Moondog-100374908
Or I could send it to you by e-mail attachment if the above doesn't work out somehow.  Also, my 9 year old son Noah colored the digital grafitti logo that you designed:  http://samuraidad.deviantart.com/art/Hero-High-logo-100369107

I can send you that too by e-mail if you wish.  I thought Noah did a really great job.  He said that he chose colors that looked like Moondog's colors.

I know that you crossed the finish line already, but would you mind adding these to the fan art section of the website?  It would mean a lot to Noah.  And I'll honest and say it would mean a lot to me to see my pic up there too.

Also, I would agree with the others that please, please, please continue the Origins comics.  They are really fun!!!  I look forward to them each week.

Well, again, congrats are in order!

CW - Is Moon Dog just a name you chose or does it have meaning?  I interpreted it as this.

@DocVolt: I added your stuff and Noah's to the Fanart Gallery - Thank you! This particular competition is finished, but I plan to still be active in promoting Hero High. Expect more updates in the weeks to come!

@jmcleod: That's what I first heard the word in reference to, and it stuck in my mind for many years. Moondog was sort of my alterego for many years - I used the name for role-playing games and as a handle when playing online games... maybe you got gibbed by Moondog if you played much Quake online? So when I was coming up with a name for my protagonist's alter ego, I wanted something skateboard-ey - it seemed to feel right.

Crackwalker = Class.  Yes, he's a little wacky sometimes, and yes he's green (and just what exactly is your problem with that?), and yes he's got his fingers into many pies.  But the man is golden, pure gold.
This community is fortunate to have him!

Funny, I thought they decided that Neo chap was The One.  Then again, he's dead, so I suppose his title moves on down the hierarchy...

I call dibs!
