Here's my quick-edit of AndrAIa. Thanks for helping, guys!
Edits included: slight freckles, the subtle stripes on her skin, thickened limbs, widened hips, bust proportion, necklace stones added, collar recolored to silver, sleeves shortened, expression softened, starfish added, icon replaced to belt, skin tone orangified, stripes intensified.
Edits excluded: suggestions?
I love the sleek mermaid look, but for everyone who likes big curves, here's my opinion utilizing Smarten's awesomesauce rendition. Steal and edit if you want to go from here. I also feel AndI isn't a big fan of gold. She did not have much gold on her before, and her trident and arm bands were silver.

The stripes make her stomach look like a six-pack. I agree that the stripes are necessary, but the six-pack definitely is not. Also, remove the color from her icon? AndrAIa isn't a Guardian... Did anyone else notice that only one of her boots has the spikes? Both of her wrist-things do, so why not her other boot?

*lol* Wow, I didn't even notice the other boot didn't have them! As for her icon though, I think because she's on a mission from the Guardians with Matrix that they give her a special unit one. You'll notice she has two icons, one worn in her hair.

There's a difference between the screenshot and this. In the screenshot, she certainly does have a toned stomach - however, it's not an insane six-pack like this.

Actually, it's just the angle of the boots, as it turns out. Look at the way each is turned. :p More editting. Freckles, silver neck band, and everybody's favorite: The starfish. This is fun. ^^

I like it. I think the freckles could be more noticeable and I think the skin tone could be a little more orange at the base and a lot more wavy and striated. But, this is certainly better. I think the star fish color and the hair color go really well together and I like the more detailed necklass. It's really good. It could use a total redraw to really get the right body shape, but for a photoshop edit it's really good.

This definitely looks more like AndrAIa; the starfish also makes the last touches seem like this is the character we know and love. One thing about her that I love about this picture is that AndrAIa's hair would obey "real" physics and move accordingly when she walks, jumps, etc. Hopefully if ReBoot gets animated, the animators will consider that little niche.

Thanks for all the help with the edits! Someone mentioned make her MORE orange, which I was like "uh..." but see what you think. My screen makes this look crazy orange. I also toned down on the abs a bit, as I'm not sure how many situps our AndI does in actuality. The freckles are very noticeable close-up, but in the show they weren't very obvious, at least not to me. They're there, and Smartens probably had them on there as well, but they didn't show up upon resizing. As for the Guardian icon, I think there's a real reason for it, so I won't change it. She will be working for them, after all.

I don't think it's a guardian Icon. The black part isn't straight up black. I think it's just a golden icon to match all the gold that was added.

*shock* Frisket must secretly be a Guardian! just kidding Nice Edit! Her top half proportions still aren't exactly how they were on the show, but that might be a good thing haha. The face is better (nice work on the brows), but it's not perfect, but it's not like you redrew the entire face so great job! The only thing I can see is that her eyes and her grin still look a little too smug.

I like this version of AndrAIa better than Smartens', no offense haha. It looks more like AndrAIa, but a little more sexified. This face just makes her look a little younger which is good. The original concept made her look too old. I also like the subtle things like the starfish, necklace, fins, skin colour, and the curves of her body. Now that's a woman lol.

This is a big improvement. I like all your edits. I think you could go a little further building up her body. Her limbs still look too thin to me, and she has absolutely no ASCII. I especially like the skin tone you gave her. That looks much more like the AndrAIa I remember. And for the record I don't object to a woman having abs. Some people seem to hate the idea of women having a little definition - what's up with THAT?

I don't mind about women having definition, but THAT definition would be more for Mouse. Mouse is supposed to have more muscle than AndrAIa, so don't make AndrAIa too big or else Mouse will have to be huge! lol

I like the deeper orange, it's not too intense. And I'm with Slackbot... what's wrong with women having a little definition? I think it's because of the pictures I'd linked in the entry, though none of them violate the TOS. (no nudity!) The basic gist was that in my opinion Monica Brant kinda goes between a 'yes' and 'no' for a Mouse model, in some pictures she's great, in others she just seems too bulky, especially her legs. No nudity? good thing you reminded me. The fitness model types definetely fluctuate depending on what picture you see them in. It's probably just as well that I haven't done a Mouse as of yet. It's likely it would upset a lot of people. Mouse is kind of an acquired taste that appeals mostly to the hardcore fans. Visually Mouse is the ReBoot equivalent to a vegemite sandwich, no matter how you slice it. :P

Smartens - Well I still wanna see your version of Mouse dammit! She should be muscular, but not bulky because she's more built for speed and agility than brute strength. (Matrix has that covered enough for everyone) And her arms are definitely more toned than her legs, probably because of all the time she spends swinging the katana(s). Hmmm, guess this means I'm a hardcore fan then. Even if I can't stand vegemite...

I know you're incredibly busy now, but I'm another one who is curious how you'll be depicting Mouse in the comic. Let's see what you do with her hair. Though I always thought red-heads were rather attractive. I'm guessing you'll be deleting the game-cube hair and replacing it with something more appealing. Careful the fanboys don't eat you. ;) And I'm comfortable with it as long as you are. I put up "WeB Edit" on the corner in bold text, and it says Fan Art in large letters, so if those two fail and confusion occurs, I'd be really worried about the one who is. ;)
