Yahoo! Last night I watched I am Legend... and I was mightily surprised to see Alice Braga, who I used as a model for my main character Lucia. She's great!! I'd only seen Alice in some photos and a short movie clip from a foreign film. I'm happy I made that choice.
On to other news... I have been busy elsewhere in my life these last few weeks, but before I disappeared, I had made that request for fans. The numbers had gone up, but have now dropped again, so I'm taking Will's advice and ignoring them. But that said, I'm sure it'll bug me again in the future.

@sturstein -- glad to finally watch I am Legend. I enjoyed it, but didn't want to dwell on the flaws, like for example, how was it that Alice and youngster were waiting at the dock since midday but didn't notice him setting up his suicide trap? It was also neat to watch my young kids react, and what questions they had, like "if that was you, mommy, would you have taken that other little girl with you through the security?"

Good as it was, 'I Am Legend' would have been so much better without the lousy effects. Had the producers not seen '28 Weeks Later'? Here's a crazy idea: use actors to portray the infected psycho zombie-like characters.
