No, it doesn't look like you're ripping off Megatokyo, despite certain similarities, they aren't like Piro and Largo.

People will definitely want to read them. The best advice I can give you is to read through the character section of several people's pitches. There is no real right or wrong but I would say to keep it not too long and to give them some idea of personality. Let me know if you need more than that.
