SO-- stuck here with no access to my home email...
did you manage to make head or tail of page 3? I thought a panel with the two kids cycling and just different coloured blurs arguing above them would be cute (panel 2). I think everything else was mostly decipherable.
I was thinking it might be nice if the Sorceror referred to himself in the 3rd person all the time. -

Cool, thanks, Resizer!

Yeah, Nick, I sure hope the Direct to Development thing goes International. I mean those guys deserve something. I'm actually a little embarassed that this is all for Canada so far! Also, if I send you some more collectible pics next week will you be able to resize them for me? No rush or anything.

Any idea on when the next phase will start?

Thanks!
Yeah, I was planning on making the sign digital, i should have mentioned that. -

So, as you will have hopefully received via CC, I sent Dave the first page last night. I wish wish wish I had the time to labour over it the way I would like to, but I think it came together pretty well anyway. If I get a chance I am going to take another look at that centre panel because the whole pitch really hangs on it.

Ps. Sounds like we are of the same generation: I grew up idolizing Remington Steele and David Addison too.
I will never forget Herbert Viola as long as I live. -

Morning!
Thanks for getting those notes to me so promptly. I am glad to hear that things look good to you. Oh my, is it going to be a crunch to get through this.
One idea I had was to model the Sorceror on a street magician like Chris Angel or David Blaine. I think those guys are cruising for some parodying. What do you think? I am happy to leave it for another time. -

I hope I am not pestering you, but I am hoping that if I pepper you with questions when I can't be drawing, it will help me focus when I can be at the board.
BTW- Can you email me your submission from last year? -

Ah, good.

should Harry and Alyssa have already undergone their transformation in the first couple of panels? It seems to me like it might be a bit distracting-- can you justify a delay somehow?

Thought: What if one of the heroes on page 1 says "I'll build you a NEW car?" or maybe "I'll fly your car to you!"
I am having trouble concentrating at work today. -

Sorry "Scarabaeus"
-
Atomic Skull May 5th 2008 1:00pm
How about "Scarabeus"? Latin for beetle. I can give him a swarthy, mediterranean aspect.

Atomic Skull May 5th 2008 12:40pm
Just a note: are you comfortable with the fact that Marvel has a villain called the Beetle?
