I don't know about how perfect it is, but I think it's definitely worth a shot! Give it a try and then let us see it, Jon!

Starting with a dream sounds like it could really work well. I would suggest make it interesting, gripping and catch our attention right away. Then, have him wake from the dream and be, like, what the heck just happened to me?
Then, make his reality even worse. My two cents. -

Hey Jon - the 'peel away' feature is a thing I don't know how to do myself. It's a part of the Z2H comic reader.

No problem
I started reading the first one and it grabbed me
I like how it made the characters in the first one know they were only your drawings
Keep up the great work -

Jon, I think you have the basis for a good story, but I need to know more about it. I will read it again and send you a message some time between now and Tuesday of next week.

I never thought of the Michael Crichton connection to Mind Crimes, but I have read all his books, so it's not surprising that he'd be one of my influences. Thanks for the kind words.

Wow - I'm glad you liked the Hero High Thumbs. They were done before Hero High even won the CCCN. I drew them with the same program I'm using the draw Hero High: Origins

It's called Freehand, and it's a lot like Adobe Illustrator. Obviously I'm taking more care with the artwork for Origins than I did with the thumbs for Hero High #1
