Hi Beth: first let me say thank-you for mentioning me in your interview! That was very sweet! Secondly, I know you are very busy, but I assume you do know our comics are up now. If you ever get a few minutes to read Minus One I would be grateful!
Best to you all! -

Funny! I won a contest I didn't even know I was entering! Having said that I do like your new title even more than your old one!

Cool, but now it's a bit long (please don't think me rude for commenting so much, I'll stop if you want). Maybe something with Blood or Sunset in the title. Those are two words that I associate with "West". Something short, but dramatic that suggests the elements of your story. By the way, I'm still loving it. I hope my own DtD pitch can be as succesful as yours!

I'm sorry, I didn't know. But still, "Retribution" is a bit vanilla. Your pitch is incredible, but a name can really sell an idea (disregarding that you've already won, and I have no real winning experience to justify my saying that). Forget it, actually, keep up the awesome job!

Hi Beth: I don't really want to mess you up, after all you went through with your title and everything, but what do you think about How the west was lost as your logline?

North Wind rocks.

What Kitsuneko said :) Montreal's busy as hell during the summer.
Re: Vancouver's Vicariously Vegan Villegiature, it's definitely THE place for that. My gf reads recipe books by that Vancouverite, the baking and stuff is tasty, granted, but the preachiness, ugh. Can't stand it.
A Montreal blogger once said she didn't understand why I *wasn't* vegan, since it took about as much willpower to not murder a human and eat it.
I stopped the conversation there. That was pretty disconnected. -

Let's see, the Jazz Festival has just begun, the Fantasia film festival (my personal favorite) begins next week, then there's the Divers Cité gay pride festival, Carifête Caribbean festival, Just For Laughs comedy festival... We pack a lot of living into our short summers!
