Hi Ian, how's it going? I'm having a little Minus One inspired contest going where 22 different writers will tell a single story one page each. If you are interested check out my blog from yesterday. I'd be honored if you would take part!

And to answer the question you asked: do you mean which comic writers have influenced me? Or do you mean what inspired Minus One in particular? Or who here on the site? Or all or none of the above?

Thanks for the note and the FAN of Minus One, Ian, I really appreciate the vote of confidence (and the blog too - nice!). I know you have talked about not worrying about winning the contest - me too - I am taking a longer view, but I really feel your story was the poorest served by the 22 page format. I kept feeling like The Mix had so much more to say but just not enough space to get to it.

Thanks for the "follow" Ian, allow me to do the same back. I think you're a very talented writer and I would love to see what you could do with a far larger story than what we were allowed here!
