I'm a screenwriter, story editor and poet (yeah, poet; what of it?) living in Vancouver, BC. I've always been a big reader (I'm a recovering English-lit major) but came to comics/graphic novels late-- in my mid-20s. Still, I have some favourites: Y the Last Man, Fables, From Hell, Marvel 1602, Top Ten and, of course, Watchmen. Abigail's War was originally conceived as a one-hour TV drama series, but naturally, it's a tough sell, given it's a period piece. I think the comic format opens up all kinds of lovely possibilities. My goal with this story? Write a comic that I (a grown-up chick) would love. There's lots of us grown-up chicks out there, looking for something to sink our teeth into while waiting for whatever Joss Whedon's coming out with next. |

Will Abigail trust in her new family with the knowledge of who she is, and what she?s capable of? It?s a world in which there are no countries, only colonies; no boundaries, only alliances.
