I was born and raised in a little suburban town, 10 minutes from Montreal. I spent my childhood watching movies, reading and writing stories, hoping to one day publish a book or write a movie.

Passionate about the arts in general, I tried to paint and miserably failed. (I still suck unless I'm drawing/painting stick figures or very abstract art). However, I was successful in my attempt at music and theater. I did 12 years of violin and theater training. I played as part of an orchestra and I scored a role in a family oriented summer play for two years in a row.

Still passionate about cinema, I discovered more about how films are made. One fateful summer day, after watching Reservoir Dogs, it became clear to me that I wanted to write and direct movies. Therefore, I wrote and directed my first short when I was 16, entered it in a festival and went there to present it and meet people from the business.

Since then, I wrote and directed over 15 short film/video projects, presented them to festivals, entered contest and went to film school.

Now, fast forward about 4 years in the future, I just graduated from the Communication Studies department at Concordia University and I'm wanting more and more to tell all the stories that are in my head. Over the years, I realized not every story is appropriate for the screen, hence why I'm now adapting them for the graphic novel format and as prose novels (which I'm working on in my free time).

When I'm not working on these pitches, I'm writing a feature length script that I hope to direct (if I successfully find a willing producer) in the next few years. I'm also working on various photography projects and I'm writing two short film projects that I plan to direct during the summer.

Jack Magnum, an alcoholic private eye detective, spends most of his time at the Blue Engel bar, owned and operated by Aube Sycamore. One rainy night, following a very traumatic encounter, Drei Dreizen, a spy-assassin, finds Jack and hires him to find out more about her origins and the people she is working for. The detective accepts her offer and quickly develops a father-daughter relationship with Drei. The investigation forces him to adopt the ThoughtVision technology with the help of Aube. He quickly starts uncovering disturbing facts about Drei’s origin that lead him to the Scimancer organization, the current society leader and his previous employer.

Because she works for the organization, he seeks Aube’s help. She discovers disturbing information about the future ThoughtVision system which she shares with Jack, putting them both on the organization’s “watch” list.

In the meantime, Drei keeps on accepting assignments, but tries to resist the control the Scimancer Organization has over her. This resistance fuels their anger and puts Drei in danger because she is seen as a time bomb for the organization.

Fearing their secrets will be revealed to the rest of the population, the Scimancer organization sends Drei on her last mission before she is terminated: she must kill Jack and destroy the evidences uncovered by him and Aube about Drei’s origins and the true purpose of Wireless ThoughtVision.

Spoilers - Planned ending

This pitch idea is a self-contained story, mostly aiming at the graphic novel format. Here is the planned ending:

Victim of the cruel mind game of the Scimancer organization, Drei has to kill Jack because of the control they have over her. She will try to resist this urge because of her attachment for him, but will end up shooting him and killing herself.

Aube still being a threat for the organization, they will use her hacker curiosity to trap her and take her to the test labs. Once there, her father, one of the members of the administration board, will intervene to save his daughter?s life. She will be hooked on a derived version of ThoughtVision which will place her into a dream-based coma, rendering her powerless.

The Scimancer Organization will be free to go on with their initial plan and implant Wireless ThoughtVision. It will give them full control over society?s thoughts and actions, thus allowing them to test different scientific utopias.
