I'm solidly debating putting up my picture, because I really, really don't look like Puff Daddy, P-Diddy, and whatever the heck he's calling himself - but I don't mind people thinking I have an inherent smidge of coolness somewhere in my body. I've been reading comics since the 7th grade, when my uncles gave me a whole stack of 1980's Marvels filled with names like Busiek, Miller and DeMattelis. I started writing around that time, and now years later, I have a B.A. in English, a defunct webcomic at www.risecomics.net and a work-for-hire project at www.classic-comic-books.com, with print projects spinning out of both websites. Fun Fact: I also fight crime - and spam - as a moderator at the deal site FatWallet.com. (Okay, I mostly fight spam). |

As monster hunters, Montague and Campbell were failures. As monsters, the two friends aren't much better - Montague is a vampire trying to lose a blood belly, while the werewolf Campbell is desperately trying not to lose his hair. Fortunately, their one last shot at redemption just checked into town in the unlikely form of famed monster hunter Madison Shepherd, their one-time friend. Before Monty was vamped and Camp was wolfed, Maddy was their best friend. So when Montague and Campbell overhear of an underworld effort to strike at the heart of Madison's family, they quickly move to prevent it (at least, after a double dose of hair and weight loss pills). The trouble is, Madison hasn't seen them in thirty years - and knows nothing of their nocturnal nature. He thinks his two friends have bit the big one - he just doesn't know how right he is. How can two inept monsters protect their friend from the shadows, and what roles do Madison's wife and daughter play in the upcoming attempt on his own life? If you thought a mid-life crisis was bad, wait till you see what one looks like mid-death. |
