Wow, most of these creator bios I write seem to be more about my comics than me, so why do't I get the creator stuff out of the way. My name is Channing Ellison, a high school graduate (GO CLASS OF '08!) born in Memphis Tennessee and currently living in Portland Oregon (also wondering why the heck it's so cold in the middle of summer). I've been writing comics since the six grade, and drawing since I was about four years old when I first created Catboy (*cough*shamelessplug*couch-cough*). The Legend of Kagura has gone through a lot of changes over the years. When I created this comic in the eigth grade, it originally had a greek mythology theme (hence Kagura's ability to turn objects into stone with her eyes like Medusa), but I decided about two or three years ago to change it from the greek gods to ninjas. Mostly because I fet that Greek mythology has been done to death (not to say that ninjas haven't but still).vThis comic is something I've enjoyed working on (like all my others) and I hope you all love reading it (quick note, this comic actually is a starting point for one of the ideas I've posted in my blog titled Random Musings, 1 million cool points to anyone who figures out which one!) |

Since the beginning, there has been a war waged between the forces of good and evil. Both sides have fought for control, an artifact that gives tit?s wielder unimaginable power. Every few millennia, a warrior has risen to tip the balance of the war for either side. Now, the time has come for a new warrior to rise, one who will change the balance of power, but one who will change the fate of the world forever. "This version is kinda of short, but it gives you a quick explanation about the key, the war, and it show that Kagura's the main character. |
