For 22 years the city of Haven had its own vigilante protector of the night. For 22 years the criminals ran for cover at the mention of his name. For 22 years Haven was a relatively safe place to live. 8 years ago that all changed.
Eight years have passed since Justice, the protector of the night in Haven, disappeared. In those eight years crime has risen to an all time high. Organized crime has grown in power and influence. Corruption has penetrated all aspects of the city. It is a dark time.
A young hero emerges, calling himself Light. It is his intention to return Haven to how it was when Justice ruled the night. The problem, he is not ready. During his first encounter with the criminal element Light is almost killed, if not for the help of a bystander. It is not until much later that Light, aka Wendal Klien, realizes that the bystander that saved him was actually Justice,aka Wayne Franklin. Armed with the knowledge that his childhood hero is still alive and in the city, Light sets out to find his idol and convince him to teach him how to save a city.
Unfortunately for Light, Justice is no longer the hero he remembers.
