Zeros 2 Heroes - The People's Publisher

Super-powered beings control the world, humans are enslaved, a small resistance group tries a desperate and drastic action that will either begin them down the road of salvation or damnation.

The war between the superpowers and the humans did not last long and at the end the humans found themselves enslaved. Five years have passed since the human armies were defeated, what is left of them have been forced into hiding. Darian Grace is the commander of a special forces unit that survived the war. Realizing that the resistance is on the raggedy edge Darian and his team decide a drastic measure must be taken to give hope back to the human race. That measure is to assassinate the nearly indestructible, all powerful leader of the superpowers. They go in search of a man who may hold the key to defeating this leader while out running various supers who are hunting them.

ISSUE #2. Darian, unconscious and injured from his encounter with the supers is rescued by a mysterious figure. In flashbacks we see glimpses of Darian just before the war with the supers. The team makes it to Vancouver, in their search for a way to defeat Steel, but is scattered and must face some obstacles on their way to the rendezvous site.
