You all know me from Mind Crimes, right? If not, please go check it out! It's got its own URL and everything: www.mind-crimes.com. And if you want to learn a bit more about me, there's even a "personal pitch" gallery linked to the Mind Crimes property page.

And for those of you keeping up with every single one of my MUP pitches, THANKS! Of course, if "ConflictED" is the first pitch of mine you've ever read, I still want to thank you -- you're awesome!

A warrior alien visited earth and fell in love with a human woman, Lilani Moon. Shortly after they made love, he left, disgusted with himself. The baby?who looked mostly human?was raised by his mother in a very loving environment. But when Ed Moon was in his rebellious teen years, his father returned and taught him to be a warrior?the type of warrior that hunts and kills inferior races for the fun of it. His father taught him to embrace his bloodlust. When Ed?s mother found out , she tried to get him to be true to himself, true to the good person he once was...but then his father killed his mother. This infuriated Ed and he nearly killed his father, who escaped wounded.

With his mother dead, Ed (who is now in his early 20?s), takes on the name Koa and becomes a vigilante to protect those in need. Like a vampire with a soul, he is guided by a desire to do good, but he can?t ignore his dark side?he enjoys hurting people?so he beats up on bad guys just for the fun of it. However, as time goes on, Ed slowly learns to control his most violent urges so that he can eventually become the man he always wanted to be in his mother?s eyes.
