Biba ready to play at GDC

After months of preparation, the Biba team is ready for a highly unusual launch at the upcoming Game Developers Conference in San Francisco!

This annual gathering of the game industry generally looks at breaking trends in screen-based entertainment.  Biba's smart playground system will showcase how families can push back from their game console and get back to the outdoor and imaginative play that kids need.

If you're there, come check us out in the West Hall Lobby of the Moscone Center!

The 2014 International Emmy Awards

Following the first season of Animism: The Gods' Lake, Zeros 2 Heroes' founder Matt Toner was invited to become a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.  He was in New York to attend their annual conference with a wide range of television luminaries from around the world.  The big topic of discussion: how television audiences are using digital platforms to rewrite the code for our industry.

The event also recognized Caitlin Fryers, an up-and-coming Canadian whose script Fealty was the winner of the 2014 Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award.  Matt was one of the jurors for this year's prize.

"Vancouver digital media incubator Zeros 2 Heroes builds a dream"

"Anyone can have a great idea, but few can weave the magic to get those ideas financed. It seems Matt Toner can."

We were honoured this past month when Zeros 2 Heroes President, Matt Toner, was profiled in a feature article by Jenny Lee from the Vancouver Sun, where Matt discussed how to turn a successful idea generation process into a successful business.
