Game asks mobile phones to solve it


How smart is your smartphone, anyway? You will get a chance to find out Saturday in Toronto or, for those with webcams, at home at your computer. Vancouver company Zeros 2 Heroes Media Inc., which uses web 2.0 technologies for entertainment properties, has a new alternate reality video game that requires players to use their mobile phones to not only play the game, but to solve its puzzles. Animism: The Gods' Lake, an urban adventure game involving first nations mythology which is tied to an coming TV series to debut on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) next January, will debut Saturday at Fan Expo in Toronto.
